Welcome to Golden Isles Elementary School!

Vision

Our Ohana will be the leader in providing a quality environment where
all children will develop a love of learning. We believe the core of
continuous improvement begins with cooperation, ownership,
relationships and drive for excellence.
Mission
Golden Isles Elementary will prepare all students to
embrace and grow in our five core principles:
Learning, Loving, Leading, Serving, and Giving.
Beliefs:
  • We believe students should have an emotionally and physically safe environment that promotes student learning (learning, Loving).
  • We believe students should make good choices, be responsible for their behavior and come to school ready to learn (learning, leading)
  • We believe that challenging expectations increase individual student performances. (learning) 
  • We believe that students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process. (learning, leading)
  • We believe that classroom time should be spent on appropriate learning activities. (learning, leading)
  • We believe that by involving the parents and community in school activities children will be more successful. (serving)
  • We believe that our school should promote mutual acceptance and respect among parents, students and staff. (loving)
  • We believe our school should be sensitive to multi-cultural needs. (loving)
  • We believe the students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning. (learning)
  • We believe students’ learning needs should be the primary focus of all decision-making that takes place in our school. (serving, learning)
