After 35 years of dedicated service to the Glynn County School System, Dr. Scott Spence announced to the Board of Education during a recent executive session that he will not seek a contract extension.
Dr. Spence will serve in an advisory role once a new superintendent is selected and the transition is complete. After the transition, Dr. Spence will officially retire.
