UGA Extension to Offer 8-Week "Food Talk" Series

Are you looking for healthier recipes to make for your family while also saving money? We have the classes for you! Glynn County Schools is excited to join forces with the UGA Extension Office's Expanded Food and Nutrition Program (EFNEP) and empower our families with new skills to make healthy choices. During each class, participants will learn healthy cooking methods, food safety practices, and money-saving tips on groceries.

In addition, participants will sample various recipes and take home items like recipe cards and cutting boards. If they attend six out of the eight classes, they will become an EFNEP graduate and receive a certificate of completion from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs!

Please click the link below to sign up. Space is limited to 25 participants. If you have any questions, please contact Jahaan McClendon at 912-267-4100 Ext. 1114.
